Annie Wood is a Los Angeles-based (born and bred) creator, actor, writer, artist, and game changer. As the third female solo dating game show host in television history, she brought her signature wit and charm to the nationally syndicated dating game show, BZZZ!, which reran on BUZZR TV in 2020. The Hollywood Reporter compared her to legendary movie stars Mae West and Jean Harlow, stating, “Annie Wood is a find!” Annie’s work, across mediums, reflects her lifelong fascination with self-knowledge and embracing one’s uniqueness.

A screenwriter, playwright, poet and published author (Just a Girl in the Whirl, Dandy Day, A Quantum Love Adventure) and voice-over performer, she weaves energy, humor, and heart into everything she creates. Her art is full of vibrant texture and layers, exploring the beauty of imperfection. Whether crafting paintings with loose figures and impressionist flowers, penning and performing evocative poetry, or breathing life into characters, Annie inspires others to explore freely, feel deeply, and create unapologetically.

She lives in Hollywood with her talented Italian actor husband, Peter  Arpesella and their brilliant malti-poo, Shanti.
